We are a two-form entry school in North Swindon. Our main aim is to give all children the opportunity to develop to their full potential so that pupils are well- prepared for the next stage of life. The school welcomes children from different backgrounds with differing abilities and talents. Within a happy and secure atmosphere, the children are valued for being themselves and experience a wide range of learning opportunities which help them grow into independent and caring people.

For all children, we offer:

A broad, balanced and creative curriculum which aims to meet the needs and interests of all pupils

Highly qualified staff

Experienced SENCOs, dedicated to each phase of the school (FS, KS1, KS2)

High quality teaching

Carefully monitored learning which identifies next steps for pupils

A carefully developed environment which stimulates and supports the range of learners in the classroom

Technology to support teaching and learning

Well-trained and deployed support staff

A range of resources and interventions to support pupils as identified by staff and liaison with home

Care and guidance through staff and peer groups

Modern, purpose built facilities which enable good access

Carefully developed external areas which support teaching and learning as well as play and social times

A range of extra-curricular clubs

Home visits for all FS1 pupils new to school and for those who are new to FS2


For some children, as required through liaison and agreement with home and school, we offer:

Individual Education Plans (IEP)

Liaison and coordination of outside agencies

Tailored plans for meeting IEP targets

Regular meetings with staff and liaison with SENCO


For a few children, as required through liaison with home, outside agencies and school, we offer:

Education, Health and Care plan (EHC plan)

Care plan in liaision with school nurse or Health visitor

Access to additional funding to support individual needs

Transition through the years and also for end of Key stages (FS, KS1, KS2, KS3)

TAC or TAF meetings as appropriate.
