Over the past few years we have had an excellent rise in numbers of participants in our Sports Premium subsidised after-school clubs. This is mainly due to the introduction of new clubs and continuation of and   of popular clubs. 

Other after-school clubs not subsidised by the Sports Premium has been excluded (STFC, Ballet & Soccer Excellence). 

Impact: 

After-school clubs 

  • Increased participation 

  • Greater pupil enjoyment through positive feedback

  • Increased inter-school competitions  

  • Increased skills of pupils through teacher/coach observations 

  • Supported less active children through non-competitive sports e.g. archery & dance 

  • Pupils joining sports clubs outside school directly as a result of our provision of school clubs   

  • Promotion and development of links to outside sports clubs   

  • School Games Mark- Bronze accreditation achieved  - aiming for Silver  

           

Staff CPD / Team-teaching with external professionals
