    NSPCC visit

The NSPCC will be visiting St Francis over the next couple of weeks:

12th – 26th November - The NSPCC will be in school for their Speak Out/Stay Safe programme and fundraising activity.

12th – 16th November – To acknowledge anti-bullying week and to think of how all different children are, our children will be invited to wear odd socks at some point during that week.

On Monday 26th November, the NSPCC will be holding a parent workshop on online safety between 3:30 – 4:30pm in the school hall.  This is for parents only.  If you cannot provide child care at this time, children can wait in a class room where we will play a dvd or they can read quietly.  Children cannot be left at school unsupervised.  Please email if you would like to attend and require a space for childcare.

If any parents feel the visit may give concerns, please contact your class teacher.

Can you donate an hour a week?
We would be so grateful if you or any family member would volunteer to hear children read once per week.  There is no limit to the number of volunteers, all classes will  be very pleased to have you. Volunteers just need to obtain a CRB check, so please speak to a member of the office team. Please email the office  with your details and availability. Thank you.

Welcome to our School Website

Opened in September 2004, St Francis CofE Primary School is a two class entry primary school in the Taw Hill area of North Swindon.

We believe that all children are a gift from God. They are all special and should be allowed to develop and grow in a nurturing environment, secure in the knowledge that they are cherished.

Our aim is that all children will leave the school with special memories,  having achieved personal success whilst becoming equipped to take their next steps in the journey of life.

In our latest OfSTED report (March 2012), we were judged to be OUTSTANDING, as well as an OUTSTANDING Church of England School by the Diocese of Bristol when they inspected in March 2017.
