On Friday, 13th December 2019, we have organised a special Christmas trip to Roves Farm for Reception and Year 1 classes.
Coaches will collect children at 9am and transport them to Roves Farm where they will experience a Nativity Play with real animals, a visit to Santa in his Grotto and fun craft activities with ‘Elf’ We will also have time to meet and feed the animals and make use of their extensive play areas.
The coach is due back at St Francis at approximately 2.45 pm – children can be collected at this time but from their normal classrooms.
School can provide packed lunches, if you would like us to prepare a lunch, please book a hot dinner for them on Parentpay by 5th December 2019. We will not be able to provide any packed lunches if booked after this date. If you would prefer to provide your own lunch, please cancel your child’s hot dinner for that day on Parentpay by 5th December. A water bottle is required for all children
The cost of this trip will be £13.75 per child. As this is a voluntary trip, this means that all children will need to be paid for, and unfortunately, as payment is needed in advance, there will be no refunds if your child is ill.
Please give consent and make final payment via www.parentpay.com by 20th November 2019. Please contact the School Office if you have any issues regarding payment, which will be dealt with confidentially. Please also see school website for details of our charging policy.
If you do not wish your child to participate on this trip, please email us at:
firstname.lastname@example.org, but please be aware that children must still attend school on that day.
Finally, if you are able to volunteer and support us for the day, your help will be gratefully received. Please let your child’s teacher know if you would like to and are able to help. DBS clearance will be needed, speak to the Office regarding this.
