Y2 Trip to STEAM Museum

Dear Parents, As part of our topic on, “Isambard Kingdom Brunel”, we have arranged a trip to the STEAM museum in Swindon on Tuesday 20th June 2023 for our Year 2 classes. We will spend a whole day at the museum returning by the end of school. School can provide packed lunches for all, if you would like us to prepare one, please book a hot dinner on Parentpay by Friday 16th Jan’23. We will not be able to provide any packed lunches if booked after this date. If you would prefer to provide your own lunch, please put it in a named, disposable bag (no glass bottles or fizzy drinks) and cancel your child’s hot dinner for that day on Parentpay by 16th June’23. All children will need to bring a bottle of water to drink throughout the day in a small rucksack and wear normal school uniform with a St Francis jumper, cardigan or fleece. Any medication your child has in school will be taken with us. The voluntary contribution towards the cost of the trip will be £15.75 per child. This includes coach transport, entrance and an interactive workshop. Unfortunately, this trip will need to be cancelled if we do not receive enough contributions to cover the cost of the visit. Please contact the school office if you have any issues regarding payment, which will be dealt with confidentially. Please also see the school website for details of our charging policy.
