Governor Latest News

At our Governing Board meeting on 21 March, we had a report from Mr Gage, our Safeguarding Governor. We discussed the safeguarding practices in place within the school and the ways in which we monitor and oversee these. We also signed off our annual review of the Schools’ Financial Value Standard, which is a tool we use to provide assurance that the school is meeting the standards necessary to achieve a good level of financial health and resource management.

Mrs Millsop updated us on the progress the school is making on the School Development Plan priorities, in particular the effort that is being put into the curriculum to ensure that learning is ambitious, carefully sequenced and meets all pupils’ needs. As usual, we also had a number of policies to discuss and ratify.
