Y4 Trip to Butterfly world

Dear Parents, We have arranged a trip to Butterfly World and Farm Park on Tuesday 18th November 2025 for our Year 4 classes. We will spend a whole day there, where children will be provided an opportunity to gain hands on experience and knowledge of a variety of butterflies, reptiles, farm animals as well as more exotic creatures including Otters and Meerkats. Please ensure your child brings in a packed lunch with a drink in a named rucksack (no cans or glass bottles). Please also cancel your child’s hot meal on ‘Payments’ by 14th November 2025 if already booked. Children will need to wear their normal school uniform and for security reasons, children MUST be wearing a St Francis jumper, cardigan or fleece at all times. Any medication your child has in school will be taken with us. The voluntary contribution towards the cost of this trip will be £12.25 per child. Please contact the school office if you have any issues regarding payment, which will be dealt with confidentially. Please also see our school website for details of our charging policy. If your child is registered as Pupil Premium, please still give consent via ‘payments’ and if needed, please speak to your class teacher regarding school providing a packed lunch. Payment has already been set up but please give consent and make final payment via Payments on PA Connect by 4th November 2025. And finally, if you are able to volunteer to support us for the day, your help will be gratefully received.
