Year 3

Welcome to Year 3

Children transition to the new routines of KS2 and flourish with opportunities for increased independence and responsibility. Throughout the year they enjoy practical opportunities including trips, visits and performances within a rich and diverse curriculum.  Children enjoy sharing their achievements with parents when invited into school. For information about termly topic plans and homework, please see the links listed below. We look forward to supporting your child as they journey through Year 3.

PE is currently on Friday, covering both swimming and an active session —please ensure your child comes prepared in PE kit and with a named swimming kit.

Meet the Year 2 Team

  • Barn Owls Class is taught by Mrs Drake, with support from Mrs Suckling and Mrs Matthews.
  • Snowy Owls Class is taught by Mrs Thring and Mrs Stonyer, supported by Miss Maggs.
